In simple words, we take a mobile phone, remove its original camera to modify it, then place the modified original camera back in a newly created position, now it has become a phone with a miniature camera.
Before putting the modified mini spy camera back in the mobile phone, we create a space by using precision machining technology, so that the new position of the modified mini spy camera is hidden, for that purpose we design a specialized case, we also create new camera wires, these wires are very thin almost like human hairs, it is a complicated engineering process while modifying camera wires (we did 2 years of RND).
When you see the modified mini camera in the new position you won’t notice that there is a camera lens there that records videos or take pictures.
Position of the mini camera in the mobile phone?
We usually carry our mobile phones in the hand, in the horizontal position, so that we can interact with the mobile phone screen using our thumbs for browsing email/social media or play videos.
Therefore, after extensive research, we realized that the best position to place the modified camera lens is in the horizontal position, on the top side of the mobile phone, so you can use the mobile normally or you can place it on a table or chair.
That means you can use the mobile phone in your hand or you can place the mobile phone on the table or a chair, and the modified mini camera lens will record the video in front of it.
So how does the mini camera in the mobile phone function?
When you want to record the video, you can open the camera app, and it will start recording the video. There is mobile app that lets you record the video in a blank screen.
For example, when you click the app, it will automatically start to record the video in the background, now you can either turn the screen to blank by clicking power button (this is the most efficient power saving, as keeping screen on will consume more power alongside video recording).
Furthermore, you can also use the mobile phone while the mini camera video is being captured such as read a book or browse pictures, social media, emails etc., but mobile phone will be very slow to operate while it is doing video recording as recording function uses a lot of the processor and the memory, we cant control it as that’s how mobile phones are manufactured by the development company.
Does mobile phone functions normal after the mini camera modifications?
Yes, it works like a normal mobile phone. You can use it for social media, watching videos, browsing the internet or listening to music. We do recommend using it as *hobby equipment* instead of a main phone as modifications made it exposed to dust/water damage.
For example, if you put it in your pocket (daily) and your pocket has dust/food leftover/dirt in it, then the hidden camera lens will get dirty or damaged if dust clogs it, furthermore if your pocket has keys etc., it can also damage the camera Lens by scratching it. So we recommend using it as a miniature camera hobby device rather than a daily use item.
